My name is Jennifer Elizabeth and I am a Christian mother of an adorable little boy. His name is Carter McKinley and he is the joy of my life and the main reason I get up and go every morning. He keeps me busy and there's never a dull moment. I am so blessed to be his "Mommy." God is good to me and I hope that this website will be a testament to this fact.
My parents purchased my first camera when I was young (6-8 years old), and I still have it with the rest of my childhood mementos. I have pictures from that camera that I took as a little girl where I set up a stylized photo shoot of my little brother and sister reading books. In high school and college I pursued other interests. It wasn’t until I became pregnant with Carter that I started becoming seriously interested in photography. I purchased my first "real" camera in May, 2010. I've since learned that I am passionate about doing stylized shoots. I LOVE the creativity that goes into planning this type of photography. I also enjoy capturing life as it happens and I prefer to take photos that are not posed in the traditional sense. I believe that my photography is a mixture of stylized/concept, photo-journalistic and lifestyle with touches of whimsy. In the most basic sense, I am simply trying to capture my family's life as it happens.
